A CARTOON ILLUSTRATION OF SHU HA RI DO PHILOSOPHY AND TRAINING

            REFLECTIONS OF THE “DO”

Shu Ha Ri Do, born in 1998 has had an impact on the lives of many. I am very grateful to God for inspiring me to make the most of the talents that he gave me at birth. It is my goal to inspire others to do the same, use the most of their God given talents to inspire others to live a righteous life, that would make him proud.  In Shu Ha Ri Do, physical training plays a big part in  helping one live a righteous life. The movements in Shu Ha Ri Do and many martial arts forge discipline within the mind and body. However, a spiritual/internal Code must compliment the physical and mental. In Shu Ha Ri Do, that Code is everything, without it you have physical movements only. The Shu Ha Ri Do Code consists of biblical principles of honor, love, loyalty, faithfulness, righteous thoughts, emotions, actions, and wisdom before combat. With that being said, below I present to you moments in time with “Reflections of the “DO”.

FOCUSED GROUP

Before training we meditate however, we do not empty our minds. I teach my students to focus on a goal of their training or pray.
